Everyone will know a couple of reasons why people will buy services/products and other things but there are literally hundreds of reasons, by being able to identify some of these reasons will help your creativity shine and aid you in marketing your business.
1. To make them feel happier (even though money doesn’t buy happiness)
2. Make life more comfortable (even if they were comfortable before)
3. Thinking it will attract praise
4. To increase enjoyment (this could relate to anything, business, life or anything else)
5. To own things that are valuable (basically makes them feel better about themselves)
6. Avoid criticism (nobody likes being criticised for any reason)
7. Make work/life easier (if you can make it easier – why wouldn’t you?)
8. Utilise their time (time is valuable)
9. Keep up with others (everybody likes to be better than everyone else)
11. Try to look younger (women in particular would do anything to look younger)
12. Attempt to buy friendship (money can’t buy true friends, but people still try)
13. Avoid pain (who wouldn’t?)
14. To project what they already earn (because people work hard for what they have)
15. Keep up to date (nothing worse than being out of date)
16. Stay out of trouble (nobody likes being in trouble)
17. Show love (make someone aware how much they mean to you)
18. Provide entertainment (makes them feel happier in general)
19. It satisfies an impulse (ever had that urge to just buy something?)
20. To follow the trend (everybody is guilty of this)
