Guerrilla Marketing & Today’s Technology

.!.

When it comes to improving your business many people get overwhelmed at the speed technology advances, if you spend too much time focusing on new technology opposed to how you will benefit it can distract a large proportion of your time which should be spent in other areas.

When technology advances, not much will actually become obsolete – it will just be improved. Technology will always be here to help you with your business, but it will never do your business for you. Always keep that in mind because in order to benefit from today’s technology there is no need in learning all of the technical issues that are related. By simply knowing the basics of what you need to know to apply the technology to your business model, you will gain the time needed to focus on other aspects of your business that need improving.

With this in mind it doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t research how to apply the technology for the best results, always know just enough so that you can utilise it to get the best return on your investment. Making the right decisions in regards to technology is crucial because not only are you spending money, you are taking the time to integrate it into your business. If this is wasted then you are back to the beginning having to repeat the whole process again.

Robertson Stephens, an investment research company that is no long in business stated that computers were originally designed for number crunching and have been used in that way for a number of decades. As technology advances they have adapted the skills to be used primarily in communication which is key to the success of any business.

Taking this as an example, knowing how to operate and utilise your computers to handle this technological breakthrough dramatically improve your business on a whole if applied accordingly.
